Bands, Past & Present, I’d Love To See Live

I was a late comer to the wonders of live music. My first show was The Mars Volta at The Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA. I went 20 years through life without going to a live show. I only really started listening to music at age 17 or so. Now I listen to all kinds of shit, from the 60s to present.

Over those years there have been some fantastic bands, creating music the likes of which was never heard before or since. (more…)

Saturdays

I never, ever, achieve anything on a Saturday.

I walked to Best Buy because I heard there was a sale on Wii games there. Got there and no sale to be seen. Got a free Jamba Juice then walked home. Spent no money.

Played Battlefield Bad Company on and off and read my book. Listened to some Joe Bonamassa and Anathema. Now (after this pointless blog) I’m listening to Buckethead (Population Override) followed by Bozzio Levin Stevens and then Joe Satriani whilst I read my book.

A slow, bluesy Saurday. If it weren’t so harmless, I’d fucking hate Saturdays.
