Roland Emmerich has never made a good movie and he never will. He writes boring characters and throws them into staple story arcs and expects me to like it.
A. Lee Martinez wrote a blog that mentions something that I agree with : Reality Isn’t Always a Writer’s Friend - here he mentions that realism isn’t necessary for a good story. And with 10,000 BC I was prepared to leave behind any of my knowledge and just enjoy a action adventure flick, but it just sucked. The story was lame, the acting was tame and the action was bland.
