Web Producer - July 2010 - Current - San Francisco, CA

• Worked on Proof-of-Concept design for mobile web app, which included rough working model and suggestions for future improvements.
• In charge of migration of pages from one Content Management System to another. This entailed the recreation of (X)HTML, CSS and images to maintain pixel perfection in two completely different working environments - examples at http://www.hoovers.com.
• Took Photoshop .psd's and created html version of them with the requirements of being pixel perfect and cross browser friendly (Internet Explorer 6 +, Firefox 2+, Safari 2+, Chrome, Opera).
• Worked with teams across the country to create better products and websites.
• Spent three days in Austin, Texas training 15+ Hoover's employees on the use of in-house Content Management System and best practices of working within the constraints of the aforementioned CMS.
• Working with an engineering department to incorporate new features and technology - an example of which would be the application of Javascript/AJAX on to pages that required it.
• Worked on creating better optimized pages for Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization - using Goggle Analytics & Google Website Optimizer.
• Improved site performance on Allbusiness.com by optimizing images for web, decreasing file sizes without losing quality.
• Worked with an engineering team on optimizing lead generation form experience - from the redesign of form elements to the application of new technology.
• Manage day to day up keep of websites: http://www.hoovers.com, http://www.allbusiness.com, http://smallbusiness.dnb.com.
• Supervised the creation of a user manual for in-house Content Management System, which included extensive rewrites in order for contents to reach a broader audience who may not be completely comfortable in a modern computer environment.

• Redesigned DeskDemon's website to optimize the html to the current standards.
• Maintained the website with daily updates.
• Improved the search engine optimization, bringing the placement to first page of all major search engines at the time.
• Hired subordinates and controlled their daily work.
• As of May 2008 completed a second redesigned of DeskDemon's website to update the the look, feel, and navigational ease as well as optimize the html to the current standards.
• Worked on special projects as they came up, some of the project included database set up, creating new sections on the website, redesigning different areas and correcting html as needed.

Quality Assurance Tester - June 2003 to March 2004 - Chertsey, UK

• Assured that all software released/developed or distributed by Electronic Arts was of the highest standard possible.
• Worked in a team, allowing for greater performance and collaboration for more original ideas.
• On my own, tested the software in a unique way, looking for bugs to be corrected and reported.

• Recently redesigned and coded a new Wordpress template for award winning author A. Lee Martinez's officlal website. I've been the admin since the site began. At first it was a static website with a forum now it is a regularly updated and visited blog running on the latest version of Wordpress.
