Viva Espana!

Fuck Germany. I have nothing against the German people, but Ballack and Lehmann are complete dickheads and I’m glad they lost.

Torres getting the goal, as I’d hoped. Great game.

Euro 2008 has rekindled football not only in Europe, but also here in the States.

Viva Espana!

Saturdays

I never, ever, achieve anything on a Saturday.

I walked to Best Buy because I heard there was a sale on Wii games there. Got there and no sale to be seen. Got a free Jamba Juice then walked home. Spent no money.

Played Battlefield Bad Company on and off and read my book. Listened to some Joe Bonamassa and Anathema. Now (after this pointless blog) I’m listening to Buckethead (Population Override) followed by Bozzio Levin Stevens and then Joe Satriani whilst I read my book.

A slow, bluesy Saurday. If it weren’t so harmless, I’d fucking hate Saturdays.

Two Songs That Make Tony Levin Awesome

Tony Levin. Bassist. Peter Gabriel. King Crimson. Yes. Pink Floyd. Solo. To name but a few of his past accolades. And it’s from the unlikeliest of bands that I pick two awesome songs. The Tony Levin Band. Both off the Resonator album. (more…)

Hulk Entertain!

Hulk - Edward NortonLast night I saw Hulk starring Edward Norton, Tim Roth, Liv Tyler and William Hurt. Edward Norton played Hulk as if Edward Norton were Hulk, in the sense that he played the same character he always plays - himself I guess. Tim Roth was excellent as always and Liv Tyler was cute. William Hurt was bad, I think, he just didn’t fit. Like Jon Voight in Transformers, just out of his league.

Anyways, the movie was a lot of fun. Great action sequences, really kept me glued eyes front and center.

It seems Marvel are on to something. First Iron Man, which was very fun (even with the terrible performance Gwyneth Paltrow threw in) and now Hulk a very entertaining film. With a tie in to the aforementioned Iron Man. now, Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man will be awesome, as all his flicks will be. Thor and Wasp, well, I don’t know enough about them.

So, if you like high octane action movies, with a little bit of heart - go see Hulk!
